Bloody brilliant!!

I really, really enjoyed it.

Iwas sh*t scared though! I dont usually watch scary films and I didnt think it would be scary but I really thought it was fab!

did it make you feel sick? I read something about crazy light effects making audiences nauseous

expatinscotland · 07/02/2008 21:24

thanks for the warning, Vacua!

i get horribly motion sick and could only stomach a few minutes of The Blair Witch Project as a result.

Disenchanted · 07/02/2008 21:25

No,

I think its because its 'hand held' camera style that they had warnings outside that it may make you nauseus because its like being on a rollercoaster

It is very bumpy and the camera does swirl around at times but didnt make me feel funny!

I think its meant to effect people with motion sickness.

Did notice funny lights apart from explosions TBH.

Nope, not going to be seeing this one.

Hand-held camera = pass the bucket for me.

I had to fast before taking the theory test because the hazard perception bit made me queasy.

Vacua · 07/02/2008 21:27

I've got terrible motion sickness, unless I'm holding the steering wheel or on a plane. Being a passenger in a car, bus or boat is horrific - jerky camera movements are bad

but might brave it on a smaller screen

Disenchanted · 07/02/2008 21:27

Lol expat.

At times it is like one of those flight simulator things!

Same here, Vacua.

I get sick trying to read a map as a passenger in a car.

You're going to see this on Valentines Day?!!.

I liked the film but it is quite disturbing overall. This film is a hybrid of Blair Witch Project and Pitch Black.

Disenchanted · 08/02/2008 09:13

Id go and see it on Valentines!

A great excuse to act scared and snuggle up close in the cinema!

It is great, but the filming left my DH feeling irritated. He doesn't like that sort of camerawork.
I am still having shivers thinking about it!
