DD (12) is desperate for a good scare, but when I Google best horror films for young teens it comes up with stuff like Hocus Pocus and The Nightmare Before Christmas, which just aren't what she's after. They're just a bit tame.
I've suggested The Village which she wants to watch, but we haven't got round to it yet. I'm quite relaxed about swearing (she knows not to repeat anything), but anything with too much sex (eg anything above a snogging scene) is a no go.
Is there anything anyone can recommend?
