Way too complicated and too much going on. It needs to be watched really.

And I say this as someone who only watched the first one recently, and didn't particularly want to see the second.

Avatar 1 was the longest most boring film I've ever watched.

Look it up on Wikipedia, there will be a synopsis. I started Avatar 1 a couple of times but never managed to get very far.
