Looking for some com in the Rom-com

I've spent the past few days in Netflix/prime looking for something decent to watch, allegedly called rom-comes,they might have the rom, but are rarely funny. I end up feeling as though I have wasted yet another couple of hours of my life.

Are there any funny ones out there, or should I just find some more good books? I know it's all a bit subjective, but anyone got any recommendations?

The Mirror Has Two Faces with Barbara Streisand and Jeff Bridges.

Great films! Also brought to mind (although not a rom-com) the Bogart /Bacall banter in The Big Sleep.
