No DVD player - how to watch Harry Potter

As the title really! We used to have a DVD player and watched the HP series annually in December. When we needed a new tele I got rid of the DVDs as we never really watched DVDs anymore and presuming what we wanted would be on a streaming service and we would just do the free month if needed! We also have Netflix and Disney but HP are not on these either?!
I can’t believe they are not readily available!
Help, please! I really don’t want to have to buy a DVD player…

If you have sky movies through your tv provider, there's a Harry Potter channel that just plays the HP movies.
Alternatively, they're often on ITV in the run up to Christmas, usually one a week, could be worth setting them to record.

There's a sky channel just for HP movies if you have access to that, I think Amazon prime charges to watch them but they also have them.

NOWTV sign up for a cheap or free trial and get a marathon in

Brilliant, thank you! We don’t have Prime at the min and sadly can’t stretch to Sky - I can’t believe they have their own channel that’s crazy Grin.
NOWTV or recording off the tele sounds the way to go - thank you for all suggestions.

Are you sure you don't have a device that plays DVDs? A computer/laptop/games console? Just hook them up to the TV with a HDMI lead.

But Now TV is also a good shout if you don't have one.

LIZS · 27/10/2022 10:43

Do you have a games console which plays dvds?

Weekendwanderer · 28/10/2022 22:37

Purchase the series digitally on either Amazon prime/Apple TV/google play and watch it whenever

MargotMoon · 01/11/2022 06:41

I bought the box set on Amazon Prime for £17.99 last year so we can watch them whenever we like on tablet/smart TV

Green4567 · 01/11/2022 06:46

yep you need to buy the digital version. I also have the blu-rays but no player anymore!

Have you got a PlayStation ?

dementedpixie · 01/11/2022 07:01

Think PlayStation and xbox can play dvds if you have one of them

NairobiGal · 01/11/2022 07:34

Play it on a laptop and plug it in to the TV!
