Help me find this old black and white movie! (Scottish Island)

It was about a women who gets on a train to Scotland and she hears about this Island. Uts very hard to get there by boat and lots of people have died trying.

She convinces someone to take her

And on this island there was an old legend that twovlowera were tied to a rock and both drowned there as the tide rose up.

I watched it many years ago.

I dont know why but I have been thinking about this film lately.

I can see that have it on YouTube aswell.

It's a brilliant film.

The fictional island of Kiloran is actually supposed to be based on Colonsay.

I love this film. And I've been over the real whirlpool featured! Not in a storm though...

It's also the reason I dragged my entire family to a boat excursion into the Corryvreckan.
