Anyone else seen it yet? I liked it. Still had Its charm! Not as much sense of danger or anything like the first but still quite fun.

Just finished it. Loved the first half, didn't like the second half. Hated the ending.

Liked the beginning with the young sisters and I honestly could have watched an entire film with them (but bonus points if they aged up so we got to see the original actors too).

I feel like this film kinda encompasses everything that's wrong with TV and Films these days. Lots of complaining OR championing of diversity quotas, but the actual problem is that they're using diversity in looks where diversity in actual characters should be. There 3 main girls all looked different but they were the same bloody character. Generic salty intelligent teenager. Boring and bland AF.

Compare that to the first one where Dani is a child but actually quite witty and a little bratty (Max loves yabbos!), Max himself who's goofy and a bit of a loner / fish out of water trying to act the big man, Alison who's level headed, pretty, popular etc and a 17th century 300 year old teenager trapped inside a cat.

On what planet did they think they could replace that with what we got? My 12yo (who loves the first) said "this is actually so boring Mum I don't think I can watch this shit" and I couldn't even pull her up for swearing, it's 100% shit.

Watched for 40 mins then got bored and fast forwarded to last 10 mins... Total carp, nearly a hour I will not get back 😂

It was ok, felt very much like a made for TV movie really... plus it has been made about 20 years too late.... they seemed, well, old!

Was hoping some of the characters from the first would make a cameo! No Max or danni and no Binx!!

Loved the three younger versions of them, they really did well with the mannerisms.

Loved Bette Midler.

The rest was... alright I guess.

I agree, the younger, teen sisters were entertaining, and Bette was, but the rest was a bit- disappointing. Most sequels are though!

Yes I have seen the original but technically so had the witches .... plus it's a Disney film... they can do anything!

Think they asked the actress who played Dani but she had conflicting schedules or something which is a shame cause it would've added something. The first was about stealing children's souls and creepy. This...just wandering a lot

Finally got round to watching last night. Dreadful.
The younger versions where good and bette herself but storyline rubbish and other ‘actors’ awful.
Loved Hannah Waddington, should have had her in it more.
Won’t be watching it again. I’ll stick to the original.

It's just so meh.
It comes across they just want to cash in rather than having an actual story to tell, it's on now and i can't concentrate

Reminded me of an afternoon film on channel 5. Me, my siblings and my kids absolutely love the first.
