Give me some recommendations for scary horror flix !

I have sky and Netflix .

Live alone but LOVE a proper scare fest ! I love snuggling into bed at about 8pm and watching a scary horror film . Any recommendations ?

Those three films scared me silly!
I think because there's people like that out there it makes it seem more real and frightening.

The last three are unbelievably brutal, I can watch anything but I couldn't watch hounds of love or irreversible again.

I should have added a trigger warning for hounds of love and irreversible. Honestly I couldn't watch them again.

I couldn't watch irreversible when I tried years ago . Is it even on Netflix?

I'm not sure about Netflix or sky I can't remember where I watched them, maybe kodi. Hounds of love isn't as violent as hostel but more disturbing, kidnap of a young girl and a bit with animal cruelty which you don't see but hear. I couldn't watch it again just because of that.
Irreversible...the film is in reverse, very disturbing and more violent than hostel. Have a look at the reviews on IMDb before you watch them, they're not your average scary movie. I'm thinking of not recommending them now when I think back on the scenes 😳

I watched The Night House which is a horror/thriller. I really liked it and found it creepy. I watched The Influence on Netflix this morning and the trailer makes it look scary but it was just crap.

Yeah o tried to watch iirreversible and couldn't stomach it .

I knew it went backwards like memento. But it's not on Netflix anyway.

The Borderlands is a micro-budget British horror that's really bloody scary (with a few comedic moments too).

Second The Babadouk. Beautifully shot and acted.

I found myself unable to rewatch Ghost Stories, too scary. Andy Nyman is great in it, and there's a whopping twist.

Ready or Not is tense and fun.

Severance is also scary and fun (and has the unusual distinction of being one of the few films that Danny Dyer is brilliant in!).

Oh and definitely Get Out! Incredible film.

one of the scariest things on Netflix is Marianne, a French series with subtitles.

Host, on BBC iPlayer, is very good and quite terrifying. About a group of friends who do a zoom seance in lockdown.

Not a film, but Cabinet of Curiosities on Netflix is quite creepy. Eight short stories by different directors…. I’ve watched three, and I’m very much enjoying them.
