Anyone watching Saturday Night Fever tonight? How many times have you watched it?

I saw it for the first time ever earlier this year. Was slightly too young when it first came out and really not sure why it took me another 40 years or so to get around to watching it.

It's very good but really dark. The rape scene in the car is vile.

I watched with Dd fairly recently, I first saw it when it came out. It was an 18 I seem to remember, I didn't understand why at the time and I certainly wasn't 18. Watching it again made me realise why it was an 18. Some hard hitting stuff, but a good film.

I was 17 when it was released in the UK. So excited about going to the cinema to see it. My friend and I went 4 nights on the trot to watch it 😀 it's only really watching it several.more times over the years I came to realise what a dark story it actually is!!
