A group of female friends get a letter from a woman saying that she is having an affair with one of their husbands & they will be going away together (I think).

The friends & their husbands are all due to meet & one husband doesn't show.

Oldish film.

I recently watched "The Women" (1939 version) & it put me in mind of this film.

I was googling "The Letter", "The Wives"!

I recommend The Letter if you haven't seen it. And The Little Foxes.

I've seen The Letter but not The Little Foxes.
