I love Batman and I was so looking forward to this film!

Too long with a lot of not much going on, but the sexist overtones/ controlling boyfriend feeling (not even her bloody boyfriend at the time either!) just did me in and I couldn't enjoy it.
Agree with PP that those shots of RP's back were weird, he's not a built guy so he did just look a bit deformed the way they shot it.
I think I'm ok with RP as Batman (didn't think he'd do a good job tbh) I just really dislike the way he was portrayed. He gave no fucks about the Wayne legacy, and showed no character growth towards changing that. One of the points of Batman is that his Bruce Wayne playboy persona is part of his cover... and yes I understand it's only year 2 for him but they don't even hint that he's thinking "ooh maybe I should give a shit... and it'll be useful camouflage".
He is shitty to Catwoman throughout, totally forgets about the poor girl who died and basically states it's her own fault for being a "bad girl" with zero understanding behind marginalised women. He's just a straight up asshole.
Just...no. I won't be seeing the next installment by this director sadly.
