for some strange reason I said "ok" when dds hatched a plan to invite a load of friends round to watch a DVD on our quite exciting new projector. In my mind all 8 children will sit quietly, transfixed, not squabble over popcorn, not spill any drinks, and wil declare the afternoon an overall success.

what film??? don;t want to give them a choice - it will result in arguments. it would be nice if it were a bit christmassy

seen High School Musical v. recently. dd1 is already scathing - she thinks it's a bit beneath her. so not overly keen on going for HSM 2. What about oldies? is the Jungle Book a good one for all?

Shrek(1,2 or3)?

TheQueenSPeach · 19/12/2007 23:21

Jungle book is a fab film and old enough to be a classic, and therefore educational Slow start though I thought.

How about Aristocats? Peter Pan?

ggirlsbells · 19/12/2007 23:22

the Santa clause is really good
