Interesting, I've just recommended the Swedish TV series Millennium (in the TV section) which features Girl with the dragon tattoo in the first two episodes so I'll probably watch this but with low expectations cos' I expect it's been 'Americanised'.

I'd like to watch this but I read that it has a rape scene. Can anyone advise whether this is true, as I won't watch graphic rape scenes.

yes it is pretty awful but she gets her own back

There's quite a lot of violence, as well as the rape scene. But the Swedish millennium series is quite excellent imo
