Series similar to Shameless?

I've just finished watching Shameless (US) for the third time. Seasons 1-7 are fantastic, unfortunately from season 7 the show goes drastically downhill. However, this is besides the point. I find myself at a loss, looking for something similar. I'm definitely drawn to the American family, drama/comedy theme.

A few of my favourite series are Desperate Housewives, Game of Thrones, Modern Family & the first 6 seasons of Shameless.

Does anyone know of any series or even films that are similar to these??

Devious Maids (made by the people behind Desperate Housewives but I’ve never seen it)
Empire
The Comeback (HILARIOUS and very underrated - a hidden gem)
Ugly Betty

Try Jane the Virgin, it's fabulous.

I am watching shameless atm and whilst I was OK with series 1 I am kind of bored by all the sex, like move it along please. It explores some excellent themes n great acting, but all feels competitive to see what more sexual content they can show each time.

Life in pieces is good. More like a non docco style modern families.

I like This is Us but it is nowhere near Shameless in terms of the full on content. It is fascinating in terms of family dynamic/relationships. It will will not make you 😮 but it is fascinating. It’s on Amazon Prime.

This is Us = amazing.

Brassic is brilliant

The office (US) is similar to modern family in that its filmed like a documentary. Also its hilarious once you get in to it. Better than the UK one in my opinion.

Skins is maybe similar to shameless but only the UK one was any good
