Would rather see it on the big screen.

Everyman have confirmed they’re showing it. We expect (dh works for a cinema chain) that in general most cinemas will be doing a roundup of films that have come out while they’ve been closed as new releases remain patchy for a while. I’m hoping to see Godzilla vs Kong - not quite so cultural Grin

Do they have any listings up?? Dh chain do not know what they will be showing yet. Don’t give up hope!

I've seen it but am really looking forward to seeing it on the big screen. It'll be the first time I've seen a film before going to the cinema.

I’m so looking forward to Cinenas opening. It’s one of the things I’ve missed more than anything. Suspect tickets will be hard to come by for a while.Minari is the other one I want to see.

Every cinema I have looked at that has announced or hinted at what will be shown post May 17th has included Nomadland.

newnortherner111 · 06/05/2021 18:43

Curzon, BFI, Everyman are my ones.

Nospringchickendipper · 07/05/2021 22:15

I can’t wait to go and watch this at the cinema.
I’m going to watch it at an independent cinema near us with a glass of wine and then booking a meal at a nearby restaurant.
Going to the cinema is one of the things I’ve missed the most in lockdown.
I’m counting down the days

I Ihave just watched it on Disney +. Not quite the same experience as the cinema, but a great film nonetheless.

MarcelineMissouri · 11/05/2021 13:24

Looks like most chains will be showing it when they open!

newnortherner111 · 17/05/2021 16:40

Excellent film, saw it this afternoon at my local cinema.

MarcelineMissouri · 17/05/2021 18:15

Wow glad you’ve managed to go already @newnortherner111!

We’re going on Friday hopefully, to watch Godzilla vs Kong

Went to see this tonight - don’t think I could have concentrated on it at all watching at home, as it’s very ‘low key’, but a fantastic film in the cinema. Bleak, beautiful, uplifting and sad.

Nospringchickendipper · 25/05/2021 17:22

I went to see it yesterday. Lovely film liked that they used real people as the characters.

mscynical · 28/05/2021 22:10

Saw it this week. Really liked it but had a little cry at a certain point. Then cried again on the way home. I NEVER cry at films.
Still thought it was great though.
