How old was your child on your first trip to the cinema?

Quite fancy taking DS1 (3) but not sure if he is quite ready. I've heard that all kids wonder around the cinema here (Spain) so that is a bonus (as he will probably too). Don't really know what is the most toddler friendly around at the moment

DD was 4. We saw "Robots". She got bored after an hour but we stuck it out.

DS is 4 now and we haven't taken him yet.

took dd for the first time on her 3rd birthday to see Shrek 3. She was entranced. Sat very still all the way through .

My youngest was not quite 3 yrs old but I only took him as the older two wanted to go and there was no one else to look after him. Haven't a clue what we actually saw as it was several years ago now. I seem to remember he ran up and down the aisle a lot and I was extremely stressed and glad to leave .

I think my older two kids were about 4 and 6 which was much more sensible!

DS was 2 and a half. At one point he started to talk loudly, took him out into the foyer and explained the need to be quiet and he was fine. Went to see shrek 3. Few weeks after that we went to a noddy performance. He is off with Grandma to see panto just after xmas. I have been teaching him oh no it isn't! And oh yes it is! And it's behind you!! I'm fairly hopeful he'll love it and behave!
