Please help me name this film!

Years and years ago 10+

I was watching a film one afternoon on channel 5 and to this day I never forgot it but I don't know the name!

It was American film
A group of school kids on American school bus get kidnapped and dumped in hole in middle no where with matteress I assume some sort of gas was allowed in as a battery pack was placed on top of the hole so if they try to escape it would fall in

And that's it that all I can remember about it but I was amazing film!
No names of any actors nothing just that and it bugged me for years!!

Aww I remember reading about this story as a child and being horrified. I saw the film years ago. I might watch it on Prime tomorrow.
