Looking for an exciting film to watch with the DCs to get them off their screens and out of their bedrooms. I know it's a long shot!

We've all recently enjoyed The Shallows and Forrest Gump. Very different films but both really kept the kids engaged.

There will have to be delicious snacks on offer to tease them into the living room.....think I've got a pack of popcorn lurking somewhere on the carousel!

What ages or max rating you allow?

1starwars2 · 07/11/2020 13:26

We need to know how old they are. DS2 keen on Mall Cop, Pee Wee's Holiday, newer Jurassic Parks.

The island. Dependant on age.

We watched No Escape with 14&17yr olds. Think it's a 15.

It's edge of your seat stuff. It's also Owen Wilson but not as you know him. He was serious and brilliant in this.

Time trap on netflix
Frog dreaming (80s) prime
Hubie Halloween Netflix

So sorry, I thought I'd put ages.

They are 12 and 14 so a certificate 12 and below should be ok.

The Island sounds like a great idea.

I'd let the 14 year old watch a 15. Although I do remember watching Paranormal Activity with DD1 ( now 22 yo) when he was 13/14 and he spent 3 weeks on a mattress in our bedroom!

We watched 6 Below last night about a snowboarder who gets stuck in a storm. DS2 quite e enjoyed it. It was ok.

The Goonies?
Jurassic Park? (It’s PG13)

BaconAndAvocado · 08/11/2020 08:51

We've decided me all the Jurassic Park films.

The 14 yo wants to watch more adult films and the 12 would feel no them too scary. A tricky time for film watching all together!

We've watched all the Jurassic park films.
