Labyrinth

Graphista · 31/10/2020 00:41

Oh good call! Isn't it more surreal than usual when you're pissed though? Maybe that's the point ?

Mind you it probably doesn't get more surreal than Alec Baldwin body surfing!

Forgetting Sarah Marshall. I love Russell Brand’s song “Inside of You” and the Dracula songs are fantastic. I do a great Transylvanian accent when drunk lol.

Graphista · 31/10/2020 01:05

I like Russell brand contrary to popular opinion I liked him in the Arthur remake and he's good in rock of ages too

Must give forgetting Sarah Marshall a go

Must admit part of the appeal of rock of ages is a VERY Fit Tom Cruise and there's a fine shot of his very toned arse when we first meet stacee jaxx!

Malin Akerman is great in it too gorgeous woman and that seduction scene is hilarious right down to the naff knickers!

Graphista · 31/10/2020 01:13

@grassisjeweled are they like totally cheesy?! I'm almost an infamous cynic especially on mn but I love cheesy movies and tv shows

Wild Child. It's the film we've always gone too when my teens have had a break up or upset.
They've all grown up and left home now but it's trending on Netflix and I just watched it after a pretty shit day and found it wierdly comforting.

Graphista · 31/10/2020 01:17

Rock of ages is a total cheese fest but knowingly so.

Sherrie just "melted" at the mere sight of stacee jaxx Grin

Tom cruise apparently scared the shit out of the director when the director asked if he could sing and cruise answers something like "I guess we'll see" then recorded "pour some sugar on me" in the presence of def leppard and fucking nailed it! Smile

They are SO cheesy. Very bad acting, very B movie. Low budget, crap fake snow, crap actors etc

Love it!

Taetoes · 31/10/2020 01:56

Legally blonde

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 31/10/2020 03:14

A lot of the fun in Shrek 2 is from belting out Holding Out for a Hero with Jennifer Saunders. Grin

It's just a nice mix of fun, drama and some good songs and little jokes. And a happy ending. Smile
