Me and my DH take it in turns to choose a film. I fancy a fun action film tonight, any recommendations on Netflix. I love Gerard Butler, Mark Wahlberg and Mark Ruffalo.

Extraction is peak action film with Chris Hemsworth.

LittleRa · 17/10/2020 21:30

The Departed

Standrewsschool · 17/10/2020 21:44

The Joker film is hardly a fun action film!

21 Jump street
Hot fuzz
Jumanji (all of the films)

BrassicaBabe · 17/10/2020 21:46

Motherless Brooklyn. Best film either of us had seen for a while

dingledongle · 17/10/2020 21:56

Just watched The Da Vinci Code Wink

HomesUnderTheSpanner · 17/10/2020 22:00

Game Night is a fun action/comedy
Ocean's 11, 12 or 13

I love a bit of Mark Ruffalo too 😍

Have you seen Olympus has fallen or London has fallen?
White House down
The punisher
Most of the Jason Statham ones are good

Nutmegpapaya · 17/10/2020 22:02

Agree with the suggestions above of Game Night and the new Jumanji films. I found Tag very funny too but I think that might be on amazon rather than netflix

Love Hot Fuzz. I have seen 21 Jump Street. Love the old Jumanji, not seen any of the new ones yet.

We've enjoyed The Meg and The Gentlemen on amazon prime this week; I don't know if they're available on Netflix.

forgetthehousework · 18/10/2020 12:55

Oh, and the first of the new Jumaji movies, which was much better than I was expecting.

Free Fire

rosegoldwatcher · 18/10/2020 16:28

I second Motherless Brooklyn - acting is superb, especially Edward Norton. I laughed out loud on a few occasions - but it isn't a comedy.
Best film seen this year.

Watched Game Night last night, thanks for the recommendations, really enjoyed it.
