Railway line, house, 3 people ..which film?

Stayed up late and a film came on the tv several years ago and remember really enjoying it but can not remember what it’s called. I remember a (possibly derelict) railway line and a house with 3 people. I seem to think it was quite a ‘gentle,calm’ film. In colour, made in the last 20 years. Any ideas what it might have been ?
