Netflix party for birthday party, how does it work??

Anyone used Netflix Party yet? Is it easy to set up? do all participants have to have Netflix subsciption? it's DS' birthday coming up and he is turning 13, so I'd like to organise a get together with his mates on Netflix party so they can all watch a movie together.

Also, any good movie recommendation for 12/13 year old? Thinking comedy rather than teen romcom!!

DS is having one right now, and it's not even his birthday. There has been some arguing over what to watch and some people have left the party.

Do you know if everyone joining has to have Netflix subscription or just the 'host' ?
