Not seen a thread about it...and am aware that, topical though it might be now, it may cause anxiety but what a bloody good film.
Very well acted. Do not watch before or after food Wink
Available on Netflix.
Should be mandatory viewing right now. Enjoy.

I just finished it after seeing your OP and also that it is a Basque film (I'm part Basque) and I am scarred!

It is horrific! Good concept though. Shudder

A good film.

As a side note I hoped to hear Basque spoken, but sadly the language wasn't on offer, so I switched to Italian, because it "fits" better than any of the other language if you don't understand Spanish.
I love that Netflix offers lots of languages and subtitles to combine.

Do you speak basque @Prokupatuscrakedatus ?! Kaixo! I'm
Not sure if it's on uk Netflix but you could watch Handia (the giant) if you wanted to see a fairly good basque film. A friend of mine won a Goya prize for it. There's also a comedy about eta on Netflix.. I think called "bomb scared" in English.

@Ofitck
Regrettably not - but I love languages (and read grammars for fun). Basque is such an interesting language. I have my eye on a basque grammar and introductory course, but the price ist still to high .
I'll make a note of your suggestions and see if my Netflix shows them.

Oh, glad I wasn't alone. My other daughter watched it and squealed throughout. Then ate all her dinner Wink.
I am going to watch Handia next ofitck thanks for suggesting x
I am happy with listening to language I don't understand while reading subtitles then I can say things like claro and obvio with gay abandon Grin I loved loved loved El casa de papel, was my favourite series last year.

Oh, my God, it was brilliant and horrific! I thought the concept was so interesting and I hate horror/ gory films. Recommended.

Watched this tonight on this recommendation.
I'm not generally keen on too much gore for gores sake but this was a fantastic concept. The greed but also the glimpses of hope and humanity in a tower.
