Will a 2.5 year old like the new lion king?

She watched the secret life of pets and was glued but that's a cartoon- will she be likely to sit through this one?? Thinking of going to the cinema tonight and it's that or Dora.

I think 2.5 is too young for the cinema. Sitting still that long, not disturbing others, the loudness . I took mine at 5 for the first time.

Loudness of the sound I mean. I find it too loud so must be too much for little ones ears. Sometimes you find showings for toddlers though.

If she can follow it then it might be a bit scary. I definitely thought it was worse then the cartoon version. If goes over her head then I’d worry about her getting bored and disturbing other cinema goers. Personally I wouldn’t. I haven’t seen Dora but from the trailers I think it’s also live action and looks like it’s aimed at slightly older children. I don’t know if either are great picks for a toddler, especially in the evening.
