I've never been a fan of the Beatles but thoroughly enjoyed this film. It has a lovely "feelgood" vibe.

Saw this tonight & really enjoyed it.

@ursulapandress, yes, saw it yesterday, my sister asked me to wait so we could go together. As I said, went on your recommendation so thank youSmile. We both enjoyed it a lot. Might take a couple of grandchildren to see it, thought was well cast and the music well done also.

Glad you enjoyed it.

Saw it last night with DH & really enjoyed it! Also welled up a little. Nice easy film to watch

It's an interesting concept and it reminded me how we seem to be losing musicians of that calibre in mainstream pop.
I really enjoyed it but wished that Lily James' character wasn't so drippy. Why couldn't she have plucked up the courage to declare her feelings herself?
I half expected it to have all been a dream though.

Saw it last night and hated the last ten minutes or so.

Lily James character was so manipulative - red flags there

Hated the cameo. Wonder what the surviving relatives and friends thought. So twee.

Hated the ending - think that's a 'thing' though with some films - the He Man Moral of this Story speech.

I finally got to see the film.
I enjoyed the music and it was a dood reminder of how fantastic the Beatles were.
Afterwards , in the pub that the global blackout was probably a straight steal from Flashforward!
The film leaves more questions than answers. Surely Jack would want to know why he is only one of three people that can remember the Beatles. Wouldn't you want to be asking Sarah Lancashire and ' the Russian' what happened and how they got in touch with each other.
The JL living in a beach house was cheesy and so was the ending.
However on the whole it was ok and I'm glad I've seen it.

I really liked it. Got DH to go with me, expecting him to hate it (he doesn't do romcoms) but it went down rather well because he loved the music.

I would have liked to see less of Ed Sheeran trying to act, and a bit more humour - I had expected it to be funnier. But it was loaded with charm and left me smiling. (And choking down a few tears.)
