Rocket man

Just went to see it and spent the last hour dancing round the house to Pinball Wizard and other Elton gems from Amazon Music. (Did the same after watching Bohemian rhapsody). Currently googling piano teachers as have decided DS must become a music maestro despite showing not an inkling of talent. Anyone else seen Rocketman and felt the same? (Also massively fancy the actor playing Elton).

My husband and I absolutely loved it. I had fairly high expectations and it exceeded them. I was surprised how moving I found it. Taron Egerton was phenomenal (I can't agree with all the Jamie Bell love though, ugh!)

We saw it on a Sunday night and four nights later went to see Hugh Jackman's show at the O2, and who should be the special guest but ... Taron Egerton! He sang 'Your Song' and he was brilliant

I went to see it for the third time last night. I don't normally do that kind of thing, either. I love it but the best bit is Rocket Man - the swimming pool scene seguing into going onto stage with the baseball bat.

I liked it. DH, who was a huge EJ fan as a young teenager detested it, especially the dancing. He said the same about Long John Baldry.
