Films with a twist?

I love watching films which have a big twist haven't seen any in a while. Love Shutter Island.

Last one I watched was Serenity which had a big twist but wasn't amazing!

Any suggestions?

The Usual Suspects one of my all time favourites but then the whole Kevin Spacey debacle soured it for me. such a great movie though.

Before I go to sleep (unless you've read the book)

Identity - I love because even though it's a twist movie it's also one you can re-watch and notice new things each time

"a couple of old ones

Wild Things - with Matt Dillon and Kevin Bacon
The Long Kiss Goodnight - Geena Davis" I love these too. Long kiss is a favourite of dds too.

"The Game, with Michael Douglas." Damn good film and I think it's on Netflix at moment.

Now you see me is a good more modern one

Primal fear is a cracker, final analysis is quite good

Twisted is ok too

But a better one of Ashley judds is

high crimes which features an at that time not well known Jim caviezel pre person of interest

And of course "double jeopardy" that she's also in which leads me onto

Kiss the girls

And

Along came a spider

Source code is another favourite of dd and I

The loft - a little known film about a group of married men with a shag pad, can't say more without spoiler-ing

A little known slasher flick called "Valentine" 2001

No way out had me 😱 the first time I saw it

I forgot about identity. Have not seen it in years!

Waking Madison
Sixth Sense (honestly I hadn't watched it before.)

CoolCarrie · 17/06/2019 19:28

No Way Out is brilliant!

moonpiggle · 17/06/2019 19:31

'Us'...really good film. Same producers as 'Get Out'.

Sleepyquest · 17/06/2019 20:02

The life of David Gale

IHaveBrilloHair · 18/06/2019 22:53

I love that film @Sleepyquest

parkrunhun · 19/06/2019 22:29

Bit of an odd choice maybe but I really enjoyed captain marvel because of the twist !

Sammi38 · 23/06/2019 17:04

Butterfly on a wheel. Such a twist I never saw coming.

Matchstick men.

Sammi38 · 23/06/2019 17:06

There’s one with Halle Berry and Bruce Willis, That has a mega twist. Can’t remember the name though. Was very good.

DinosaursWouldEatYou · 02/07/2019 18:02

The Others with Nicole Kidman. I loved Shutter Island too!

EllebellyBeeblebrox · 02/07/2019 18:03

Another vote for Dead Man's Shoes. Incredible film, blows me away each time I watch it.

Greyhound22 · 02/07/2019 19:28

The Life of David Gale if you can stomach Kevin Spacey

Waiting1987 · 02/07/2019 19:34

Swordfish

LittleWalnutTree · 02/07/2019 19:43

Another vote for 'No Way Out' - it's one of those films you wish you could watch for the first time all over again but can't because you know the twist!

carmenbea · 03/07/2019 19:40

Perfect Stranger is the one with Bruce Wills and Halle Berry

greatescapeme · 03/07/2019 19:47

The twist in hide and seek is really good

Remember Me is a good shout. I remember watching the twist part and suddenly being like ShockShockShock

Livpool · 03/07/2019 21:04

Loads of these sound great- will be adding to my watch list.

I love The Prestige and Identify
