Transformers movie - anyone seen it?

This film is released in the UK on July 27th.

Its already been released in Australia and the reviews there have been favourable.

My 5.5 year saw it last week and really enjoyed it. Guess it depends on the child really.

my sister saw it and said brillliant film and i shouls take dd and ds 7 and 6 (so she thought suitable)but cant say myself as cant afford cinema!

transformers was actually suprisingly good, a bit drawn out at times but we enjoyed it. a nice throwback to the 80's imho. after we got home from seeing it we flicked through the channels to find something for ds to watch and there was an episode of the cartoon on and i totally forgot that megatron actually turned into a really crap gun in the tv show so dh and i were quite amused for the evening.

We went to see it this week on a rainy afternoon when we were away camping. It was FAB. Me and DD were miffed cos we didn't really want to see it but the boys did and we dragged our feet in there with armsful of popcorn to help us get through it.

Absolutely loved it. Much better than I imagined it to be. DD loved it too and DS (nearly 6) said "this is the best day ever" when we came out so I think it was a hit for him.

oh yes, me and DH did look at each other at that point but it went right over their heads!

Was exciting action movie and not my thing at all but I really enjoyed it.
