We're going tonight Northerner (6pm) It's got good reviews and the trailer looked great fun!

DrNortherner · 16/06/2007 11:53

I'm quite excited in a sad way...dh hates cinema (lanky of legs) so it's quite a coup for all four of us to be going on a 'night out'.

DrNortherner · 16/06/2007 11:56

My dh is not coming, he hate the cinema, but that's because he prefers to watch films on the comfort of his own sofa in his boxer shorts with his hands sown his pants

Not Tommy Tanking I must stress.

Apparantly ahnds down pants is 'comforting'

ROFL!!

Sadly i know what you're talking about..somewhere i have a photo of all 3 of my boys lying on the sofa watching tv with their hands in a warm, comfy place...

DrNortherner · 16/06/2007 16:22

Well I think it was abit over teh head of my ds. He did get a little fidgety in teh middle due to lack of bad guy v good guy action. But your 2 are older so I'm sure they'll be fine.

I thought teh story was a bit poor actually, and am still a little confused as to waht actually happenned at the end

But teh 2 guys are seriously lush, partic when you see one weraing nothing but a towle straight out of teh shower.

Jessica aLBA HAS Mahoosive lips. Check tehm out.

Dh is there now with dss and mates (8-10 yr-olds). There are plenty of films I want to see: this is not one of them, so I was pleased he volunteered.

filthymindedvixen · 16/06/2007 16:34

oh good, something for everyone then

roisin · 16/06/2007 16:34

Actually we normally send them on their own to see PGs, so I think probably dh wanted to see it too

MrsWho · 16/06/2007 21:04

My xh took dd1 this afternoon, dd2 didn't want to go as she doesn't like boys so stayed with his mum.

MrsWho · 16/06/2007 21:05

I wanted to see it so may be going with dd2!

DS 3 and 6 loved it.
Lots of things got blown up, various people were happy and sad, and from an adult perspective it managed the trick of showing deeply implausible super powers without taking the piss out audience credibility.

I did like the Stan Lee cameo

MamaMaiasaura · 24/06/2007 18:09

took DS(7) to see it. Heloved it too. I enjoyed it, was fun with lots of special effects
