I felt it was alright, kinda goosebumpish.its a 12a there may be a few scenes that may be scary for a few 12 year olds.

Think young orphan boy moves in with creepy magical uncle.

I don’t think it new whether it was a comedy or a thriller

I quite enjoyed it; Jack Black. Essentially playing the same role he always does , but was excellent, Cate Blanchet was very good; the child was less good. A bit too long though.

it was duller than I expected it to be from the trailers - kids enjoyed it though
