The Nun - I watched it so you don't have to (taking one for the team)

I have a Cineworld card so watch all types of tripe. I have just seen The Nun, and most horrifying thing about it was the acting . In particular 'Sister Irene', who appeared to have two facial expressions, either total blankness or mildly perplexed.

At one point, when the Nun popped up, again, behind sister Irene, someone in the audience shouted 'she's behind you!' That was a highlight. The plot, such as it was, was largely incomprehensible, the accents were unidentifiable, the dialogue laughable, and the demons were slightly more scarcely than Barney the dinosaur.

I love trashy horror, but this was just trash.

Lol, thanks. My best friend and I are big trashy horror fans, but that sounds a bit shit even by our low standards

Unfriended2, or what ever it was called; generic, can barely remember it, Blakkklansman, excellent, very funny: I usually fin Spike Lee a bit state the bleeding obvious, but it was excellent. I also enjoyed Ghost Stories, but thought Hereditory was pants.

Did think it'll either be good or bad bad... I think once you see what it is as well it can go so stupid.

Least it was free! That's the reason I'm going to see it Thursday cause the card lol.

Slenderman was diabolical

The Nun was worse than Heriditary, and even worse than Slenderman, but I expected Slenderman to be carp so wasn't disappointed.

See i just got back and loved it. Id rate it higher than the other conjuring films.

I have to warn you that I have several friends who are nuns (well, sisters actually) and there are plots afoot to visit cinemas and stand up during the film and hiss menacingly. Sounds like it would be a welcome distraction from the tedium to me.

I was looking forward to seeing this but after 1* reviews everywhere plus your review OP I don't think I'll bother!

Didn't hate it.. Wasn't really scary though. Then again in our showing some girl was having a argument with her boyfriend on the phone.. Which went on a bit even after staff had spoke to her... So that was a slight distraction from whatever was going on in it.

I liked black klansman as well
