DP works for a film mag.

GHe says there's a thriller called Zodiac about a hunt for a serial killer

Are you going to Cribbs, he asks?

DANCESwithnewlytannedlegs · 30/05/2007 18:37

I've seen the two you've mentioned and they are both ok but not ground breaking stuff.

Sorry went to have dinner.

Yes IW Cribbs. But hey, we are child free! We could go anywhere within reason!

No, not interested in Spiderman 3 or Pirates...

Trust us to get a childfree weekend during half term so all the films and shows are for children. Also, to have this time within weeks of the HP film coming out.

i can't remember the last time i actually looked forward to going to the cinema, the best films are really hard to find and seem to be just shown at arthouse cinemas or whatever. it's grim

DumbledoresGirl · 30/05/2007 19:25

Penelope, thanks for that. Dh is quite interested in it and we have found a couple of cinemas showing it this weekend so that is a distinct possibility.

SEA, I know what you mean. Dh and I used to go to the cinema most weekends before we got married, but now, well maybe we are getting older and are not in the know anymore...

We liked Amazing Grace though (saw it a couple of months ago).

i saw this on filmfour on monday. i'd never heard of it but it was a fab film.

we're real film fans, but our local just seems to show childrens films or blockbusters.

saw zodiac on sat, better than your average serial killer thriller...no. 1 in guardian film guide too, I enjoyed it

it's grim, very grim. I used to go to the movies at least once a week, but nowadays it's such a rare occasion that I dread wasting my time with ugly movies.
