Bridge to Terebithia - any good?

Anyone seen this? It's a PG but seems to be aimed at children. The trailer looked good, a bit like Narnia.

Dc are 8.5 and 5.5yrs.

It is good but not a bit like Narnia. There are a few threads on here about it, but some contain spoilers, but it is very very sad and covers things like bullying and death.The problem with the film is that it is misrepresented by the marketing.
My DS 11 was very disappoointed because he expected another Narnia with lots of action. DD 9 loved it.

Ah - it might be a bit on the serious side for the younger ones then.

I have just realised I have spelled Terabithia wrongly in the title which explains why nothing much came up when I searched for it. Doh!

this is a beautiful film.
watched it with kids age 8(B),10(G),13(G) and 15(B)
we were al riveted,very sad though.
really striking film,depends how sensative your little ones are,
mine all loved it
