No Second Chance, adapted from a book by Harlan Cohen. In French with subtitles but it's really worth a watch.
He also has another adaptation called Safe on Netflix but I haven't seen it yet. Probably good as well.
Another of his adaptations is The Five which I think is on Now tv if you have that.

The OA is pretty good too. Enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

If you want a long series, Person of Interest. Maybe a bit slow to start with but it gets really, really good. Great characters.
