Anyone else super excited about this? I'm watching quite a few of the Marvel films in anticipation and am rather nervous about who may die 🙈
Ticket booked for 27th April!

I'm staying well away from anything which might show any spoilers. It's going to be an amazing night out on Friday and I can't wait. Just perusing which lovely local restaurant I am having a meal in beforehand. It will just be me and a lovely leisurely meal then tickets booked for 7pm.

heateallthebuns · 25/04/2018 17:25

Oooo I'm so excited, tickets booked for 7.20 on Friday. I know some people will have seen it already.

elfycat · 25/04/2018 17:31

We're going to see it at 0005 tonight. The DDs will be tired tomorrow but as DD1 (9) said: 'It's an adventure.'

I'm speaking to them very, very sternly about spoilers and the lengths people will go to not to hear about it.

We'll turn up early for popcorn. It's going to be heaving.

heateallthebuns · 26/04/2018 10:26

I wish we were going at midnight, it would be great fun! My ds too young though, they don't like live action movies yet (except power rangers Envy) only cartoons. I can't wait till they're old enough to bring to movies I like!!!

heateallthebuns · 26/04/2018 14:28

Has anyone seen it yet? I'm really struggling not to read spoilers, I know it'll spoil it, but it's so tempting.

afrikat · 26/04/2018 15:41

5pm tomorrow for me! Also trying to avoid spoilers!

Can we talk about it yet??

I’d strongly advise watching before young DC tbh. I was all set to take DS3 (he’s 6.5) and I’m really reconsidering. Even DS2 I’m wavering and he’s 10 and has seen them all.

It’s quite difficult to watch at times.

heateallthebuns · 26/04/2018 17:17

Don't tell me!!! I'm dying to know. I have the Wikipedia plot page open, I have to try not to read it Shock

Lokisglowstickofdestiny · 26/04/2018 19:09

Ha, went and saw it earlier (I'm also going tomorrow). I loved it but it's darker and more emotional than I was expecting. Not saying anything more.

Lokisglowstickofdestiny · 26/04/2018 19:10

Oh and I'd agree that it's not suitable for young children.

lifechangesforever · 26/04/2018 19:12

Cannot wait to go.. hopefully this weekend Grin but also might have a marvel movie marathon and then see it during the week when it's quieter!

afrikat · 26/04/2018 19:24

I think if you want to talk about it start a new thread with spoilers in the title. I don't want people (including me!) stumbling across them
24 hours from now I'll be watching!

Jb291 · 26/04/2018 19:48

24 hours from now I will be settled in the cinema armed with tissues, popcorn and the biggest slushy I can find. Avoiding spoilers like the plague. Might also get some Ben and Jerrys.

MissFitton · 26/04/2018 19:53

@Lokisglowstickofdestiny, how 'young' is not suitable for young children? My ds2 adores Marvel and we were planning on going this weekend. - he's nine and has seen all the other ones. I'm really hoping it's ok for him as he'd be so very disappointed not to see it.

Lokisglowstickofdestiny · 26/04/2018 19:57

I don't want to give too much away - depends on whether he can cope with characters dying. We got a lot of hype in Civil War about possible deaths and only Rhodey got seriously injured. This film is more intense in that respect. In your shoes I'd see it myself and then take him if you think he's going to be ok with it.

TricksyLiesmith · 26/04/2018 20:08

Is there a thread to discuss this for those who have seen it. My brain is completely mushed

MissFitton · 26/04/2018 20:16

Thanks for that Loki - an excuse to see it twice I suppose! Grin

Lokisglowstickofdestiny · 26/04/2018 20:19

Indeed - I'm going again tomorrow I don't have the excuse of a child!

0h · 26/04/2018 20:37

I went today. Snuck my 10 year old out of school half an hour early as I hoped the mid afternoon showing wouldn't be too busy (it was half full so not too bad and didn't need to book)!

I couldn't wait any longer because people are idiots and blab spoilers! I had avoided all trailers and talk of it so that it was all a surprise.

Though I read Marvel fan fiction and some people had used stuff from the trailers in their fics, goddamn them.

BUT ITS ALL FINE, IM FINE, ITLL ALL WORK OUT IN THE NEXT FILM, IM NOT CRYING YOURE CRYING.

DamnDeDoubtanceIsSpartacus · 26/04/2018 22:35

Oh My Goodness.

We need to talk about this, will wait for the heads up.

Ilikeanimalsmorethanpeople · 26/04/2018 22:43

Traumatised!! Loved it though going back on SundayGrin

Delphinius · 26/04/2018 22:58

So much to unpack. Can't stop thinking about it.

Taking the wean on Saturday.

Delphinius · 26/04/2018 23:00

That sign in the background of a scene that said "We'll deep fry your kebab" was brilliant. Cue much laughter from the Scottish audience.

TricksyLiesmith · 27/04/2018 09:22

Ha yes spotted that @Delphinius !!!
