Saw it this afternoon, really enjoyed it.Although got slightly irritated that Mr Brown was allowed to look middle aged but Mrs Brown has to look about 20!

cloudyweewee · 27/11/2017 17:33

It's a lovely, funny fIlm. I laughed out loud a couple of times and am glad I had my hankie at the end. Hugh Grant is very funny.

KarlosKKrinkelbeim · 27/11/2017 17:36

Sally Hawkins is 41 according to Wikipedia. She just has very good skin! Wouldn’t want anyone else to play the part she is just lovely. And both Hughs were great too although normally I can’t bear either of them.

NewYearNewNiki · 02/01/2018 00:34

I thought it was crap

calzone · 02/01/2018 00:36

NYNNiki

You are joyful.

Ds13 and I loved it.

NewYearNewNiki · 02/01/2018 08:01

@calzone

is it so shocking to you that people will like something the next person doesnt and vice versa?!

So what you loved it. I thought it was shite.

AgathaRaisonDetra · 02/01/2018 08:06

ODFOD back to the taxidermist.

MrsPringles · 02/01/2018 08:11

Oh I loved it. Took 3yr old DS and he loved it too.

I cried at the end Blush

NewYearNewNiki · 02/01/2018 10:18

Yeah Paddington looked like a bad taxidermy animal and the voice was too old Grin

Funny I thought this was film not aibu.

People say whether they like something or they dont. I didn't and you get nasty comments for using the film forum as it is intended.

I didn't know we all had to agree with the consensus.

Get a life

CoolCarrie · 15/01/2018 00:47

Well that us told, isn’t it?!
We all loved it from an 84 year old to a 8 year old,so there!

CotswoldStrife · 15/01/2018 00:59

We loved it too, I shed a tear and I'm sure I saw grown men wiping their cheeks too. Hugh G with all the photos was funny!

honey033 · 15/01/2018 05:22

I will be going with my kids to the movie. So, the movie seems to be a good one reading from here.

HettySunshine · 04/02/2018 07:07

I took my 4 yo. It was her first trip to the cinema and she loved it! She at on her seat and watched it beautifully.

Absolutely fantastic film.

FineAsWeAre · 15/02/2018 11:30

We loved it, we all laughed and cried both happy and sad tears. Actually think I preferred it to the first one.

TheBadgersMadeMeDoIt · 19/02/2018 23:55

Beautiful film. Funny, touching, respectful of the beloved books... couldn't fault it, really. It doesn't quite outshine the first one (and let's face it, not many films could) but it's a very worthy sequel.
