What's Disturbs You in a Film

I watched a really really grotesque film the other night an then thought about what I'd consider really disturbing in films for me and was interested in hearing about what others find too disturbing to watch, mine are:

Anything relating to animal deaths or animal cruelty
A person being mauled to death by a bear or similar
A women being gang raped
Someone being lashed
Someone being tortured and their spines being cut i.e.: Wolf creek 2
Children being killed
Saddest movies for me are where everyone says goodbye at the end like ET and Free Willy etc.

I'm a huge horror and gore fanatic but these topics make me really feel horrible.

Forget films - the title of this thread disturbs me as it makes no sense.

What disturbs me more is the fact that I’m normally anal about grammar and I made the mistake on the title. Oh well shit happens is what I tell my boss when I stuff up regularly

Imo the description of a Serbian film is worse than the actual film. Nothing much disturbs me in film, well it does obviously, but I enjoy films that make you think and offer a different perspective.

Cannibal, a film about that guy in Germany who advertised for a man to eat was pretty tough viewing. There is very little dialogue, many horrific scenes.

The greasy strangler. I have no words for that one.

Watched a film the other day called the lobster, pretty bizarre concept, very very overlong.

I actually thought hostel 2 was quite good. I loved the revenge fantasy ending.

Ha ha he did say it was one of the most warped things he’s ever seen 😂. He and I have the same taste in movies and we love wierd shit. Will definitely look up the other two you’ve mentioned now. Sausage Party was also bizarre in a funny sick way. Headless as just damn psycho bleurgh!!
