Calling women who watch films!

Hello,
I am currently conducting research for my MA in Film and Cultural Studies, and I'm posting out a (brief!) questionnaire on death in films, specifically looking at women's feelings about it.

Good grief, most of those questions could be a 2,000 word essay

How can we summarise our feelings as we watch characters killed off? Surely it's different depending on the film and depending on the relationship we've built up with that character rather than on the sex of the character?

Well that right there, that it's about the film and relationship, is a response in itself. It's just about finding out how women feel about what they watch, it's hard for the questions to summarise it but that's why I included me e-mail as I will be asking women after the questionnaire, if they want to, further questions to get better, more detailed answers.

Also, all responses from women are valid and helpful!

It really is just about finding out how women feel regardless of whether it's in a lot of detail or not.

It's an interesting idea, but I'm not sure you'll turn up any great insight.
