Netflix/NowTV /Prime Movies?

Looking for recommendations- husband is getting tired of me taking nearly half an hour scrolling through looking for films to watch, he almost fell asleep before I found something last night!

Like most kind of films, husband isn't that keen on horror, which is why I like a good scary film 😂, haven't seen a good one in a while, not so much gore, just scary! I think last one we watched was Pay The Ghost, with Nicolas Cage, that made me shiver!

Have watched a couple of Jackie Chan movies over the last couple of nights, enjoyed those. Like anything with Adam Sandler, so have watched most of his. The Do-Over on Netflix is a Sandler classic.

So anything really, comedy, thriller, action. Saw the 2nd Independence Day on NowTV, what a huge disappointment that was!

Any recommendations?

'The Nice Guys' is on Prime. One of my favourites of 2016. It stars Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling as airy-of detective duo.

Sorry 'The Nice Guys' is on Netflix.

'Hell or High Water' available on Prime is great. It's about brothers who are bank robbers, stealing from the bank which is about to re-possess their family home.

'Kingsman' is on Netflix - spy comedy, but quite violent in places.

Sorry I don't like horror so can't think of any horror films to recommend.

I sympathise with you spending loads of time searching for a film. I'm guilty of that too!

Thanks I'll check those out, I've seen Kingsman though, which I thought I wouldn't like but did. Sometimes there can be quite a few films that I'll be wanting to watch, then there's times where I can't find any!

NowTV have some good ones now & then, I haven't seen the Absolutely Fabulous which has recently been 'added' so that's one on my list. Don't know if OH will enjoy though, mind you, he usually ends up falling asleep 20 mins before the ending of every movie!

I know what you mean: there's almost too much choice. All 3 films I've recommended I actually saw in the cinema. I tend to fall asleep at home, so I sympathise with your husband!

I found Ab Fab a bit disappointing, but it had some funny moments. Perhaps one you need to be in the right frame of mind for.
