i know i'm sad but wondered if anyone could clear a few things up!

You know, if I totted up how many times I have seen these films...it would scare me. The first one is still the best though.

She had to look pregnant so that Anakin woudn't realise his child(ren) had been born. Better that he thought they had died so he didn't go after them etc etc.

Bloody hell, jj - why did I never think of that?

The one thing that's wrong though is that in Star Wars IV Obi Wan claims not to recognise R2D2. Whe of course he should do (clever touch to wipe c3pos memory banks at the end of III).

I think I've watched them too many times......!

There's another mistake - when the pod with the droids in blasts off from the ship, one of the crew says "there goes another one...no life signs." But later when Darth Vader figures out the plans have gone and surmises that Princess Leia put them in the pod, someone says "a pod was jettisoned..."

And the bit where the stormtrooper bashes his head running through a low doorway...
