Witness

TheUpsideDown · 04/08/2017 15:41

The Green Mile

Its a roller coaster of emotions every single time I watch it. I rarely cry at films, and I rarely watch films more than once. But I never tire of this, and I cry buckets each time

Mulch · 04/08/2017 15:43

Happiness.. Really dark comedy, it's very marmite you either love it or hate it. I think it's genius.

ImSoUnoriginal · 04/08/2017 16:42

Another for Princess Bride or possibly Labyrinth.
Not the best in the world, maybe but they are like snuggling under a duvet with a mug of cocoa. 😊

Wheelycote · 04/08/2017 19:41

Toss up between

Rocky

And

Princess Bride

Bubwiser · 11/08/2017 09:24

Mine are all animations.

Finding Nemo
Brother Bear
The Lion King
Spirited Away
and lately, Moana

LucyLocketLostIt · 11/08/2017 09:28

Without doubt, Gone With The Wind.

It's a masterpiece.

Vivienne Leigh is Scarlett O'Hara.

MartaJ · 11/08/2017 12:53

I think it's really difficult task to choose a single movie as favourite. I always struggle when I have to answer this question. There are movies that impress me a lot, others inspire me for a change, there are these movies that leave me with my mouth open, there are other movies that I can watch ten times and still laugh at them. If I have to recommend a movie I always ask the people if they have watched 'The Shawshank Redemption' so maybe that's my favourite.

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 11/08/2017 12:56

It's a tough choice because there are so many I love, but one of my "go to" films when I need cheering up is Practical Magic.

IjustbelieveinMe · 11/08/2017 13:00

Raising Arizona I know the whole script off by heart

stitchglitched · 11/08/2017 13:00

Legends of the Fall
Con Air
Die Hard series
Shawshank Redemption
Sleepers
Last of the Mohicans
Robin Hood Prince of Thieves

90s films were the best!

mydogisthebest · 11/08/2017 17:51

Gone with the Wind
The Graduate
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
Finding Nemo

Bumdishcloths · 11/08/2017 17:54

Completely impossible to choose, varies depending on genre, era and how I'm feeling on the day.

Today: Jaws and The Princess Bride

Tomorrow: Could be anything from Streetcar Named Desire to Elf 😂

Ironfingers · 21/08/2017 18:15

This Is Spinal Tap. Without question. Although you may have had to have been in a band or like old school metal to "get" the humour.
So many quotes:
Smell the glove
Died in a bizarre gardening accident
Too much fucking perspective
Fuck the napkin
These go up to 11.

I could go on all day.

Starwoman1990 · 23/08/2017 17:02

i agree with your answer,

Starwoman1990 · 23/08/2017 17:02
