Pulp Fiction. Love it or hate it?

Following on from 'The worst film ever' thread, how do you rate Pulp Fiction?

I was shocked how many people on the thread named Pulp Fiction as the worst film ever. To my relief other were shocked it was on there too.

Obviously I'm a big fan, hence the name.

So what do you think? Hit or miss?

I love Pulp Fiction too! I saw it at the cinema on a second date. The guy was so appalled when I laughed at Marvin getting shot in the head that we never went out again! Luckily it meant that I was free to get together with my hubby who does have decent taste in films.

Love Pulp Fiction - it's the only film that dh and I both like. Love the soundtrack too, reminds me of a bonkers holiday on a canal boat with loads of excellent mates - esp Junble Boogie

i have the theme tune in my car - the one that was remixed recently - the group - the girl who pissed hersel on stage. that one.

Love it

John Travolta is so mean and moody in it - I prefer him with a bit of 'meat' compared to his early skinny days. Bruce Willis is fab too.

Just love the story and everything in it

thought it rather dull and more interested in looking good than saying anything interesting, didn't care about any of the characters. Tarantino not my bag generally as dislike watching films that seem to have violence as their reason.

by the way i heard his latest is so extremely violent its only getting a release in sex cinemas in the US

Thought it was a great film.
Love the dialogue and fantastic soundtrack.
However think Jackie Brown is his best film and even better soundtrack-especially Bobby Womack in the opening credits as Pam Griers walks along.

I love it and all of tarentinos films. He is so funny apart from anything else but not sure everyone has the same sense of the macabre humour in them.

What??Shocking! How can somebody not like Pulp Fiction?! It's so rare that I can watch a movie more than twice and not get bored but Pulp Fiction I can watch thousand times and it's still fab and so cool!!LOVE IT!!

I love all Tarantinos movies, I love his cool style, visual style, the way he uses music in his movies, the way he tells the story!! The cast is brilliant as well. Love it!!
