Films about the importance of press freedom

I want to watch a great film with my 16 year old DS to show him how dangerous society gets when the free press are shut down ( can u guess why ?!!)

We watched All The President's Men the other night & it was great - very timely! Worth having Wikipedia to hand to fill in the blanks though, unless your 1970's American political trivia extends to stuff like the Canuck Letter etc.

Great and thanks . Had thought about All the Presidents Men but wondered if it was too dated.

Along the same vain, The Big Short, about the American housing price crash. Based on a true story. I'll see if I can think of some more too.

(Gory and a very hars watch, and Cambodia may be so extreme he struggles to connect it with censorship in more moderate countries).
