I enjoyed it a lot.

Would like the dc to see it; important record of recent social history.

Loved it even with its Hollywood moments.

Saw it tonight. DD17 is studying STEM subjects and the American civil rights movement as one part of A Level History. She loved it, I loved it.

Why weren't Taraji P Henson and Janelle Monae nominated for Oscars? They were fantastic and should have been on the list (I got the feeling that Meryl Steep felt she shouldn't have been nominated).

Made me angry too - what a waste when you don't allow 50% of the population to contribute their best work/ideas etc. Not to mention segregation/racism on top of all that. Wonderful stories and I'm so glad they will reach a wider audience. Hope it will inspire some young people. Ought to be on the school curriculum.

Where I live (in the US) it opened with only a few showings a day but was so popular that it has been showing for weeks.

When will Hollywood wake up and realize that the rest of the world isn't just made up of white men wanting movies about white men?

There were scenes when the clothes etc made it even more obvious that she was the only black woman in the room.

We read up about the facts after watching it and it is satisfyingly close to the truth.

Just been, loved it. Annoyed I didn't stay til the end but was getting weepy over the photos of the women. Was trying to explain to my DC why Dorothy being addressed as 'Mrs' at the end was so powerful.
Sorry to hear it has not had a wide release. It deserves to have.

Amazing. Cried my eyes out at the crowbar bit. It moved me so much.

It's made more in the USA than the last X-Men and the last Bourne, on a much smaller budget, so it may towards making a small or, hopefully, large change.
