Rebecca Ferguson in The Girl on the Train really reminded me of some other actress but I just can't put my finger on it. I thought it would click for me eventually but I still can't figure it out and it's annoying me. Does anyone have any ideas?

Jasonapple, I think you might be right. I had forgotten Rosamund Pike was in Pride and Prejudice but I think that's what was floating somewhere in the edges of my brain.

I was thinking of blonde hair in an messy updo. I saw Rosamund Pike with a bob in What We Did On Our Holidays over Christmas so I wasn't thinking of her as a long-haired person at all.

I loved that film "what we did on our holidays" - was surprisingly good!

I loved it too-it was the best thing on television this Christmas. I wonder why it isn't better known. The girl who played the eldest granddaughter was excellent.
