I see someone earlier has suggested Imitation Of Life. Oh my. I watched this in my early 20's. It really affected me. A beautiful, haunting film. Cried like a baby.

Pride. Such an uplifting film and is on BBC iPlayer at the moment!

Also Hitchcock's Rear Window, a classic!
Loved Desperately Seeking Susan too, only film Madonna was any good in!

We watched The Imitation Game last night (on Amazon) and really enjoyed it.

I know the significance for Star Wars but I just can't stand it. Watching calamity Jane with the kids today, use to watch this when I was young.
