Have amazon prime. And Netflix and ssshhh don't say anything but I can download stuff too.

I'm into horrors (have seen many of those recommended here ) and psychological thrillers but will also settle for some kinda depressing/gritty drama

Anything really but cheesy romcoms and chick flicks..

Human centipede was horrific.

If you have Amazon prime then get Hatufim. It's the original series that Homeland was based on. It's a gazillion times better. Only two series, low budget, but genuinely jaw-dropping stuff. I can honestly say it's the best tv I've ever seen ( and for various reasons I am not a fan of things produced by Israel)

I can't say I was tempted MrsJ (and I don't mind a bit of standard gore).

I'm not usually a foreign film person myself.

I did however watch the stoning of soyroya (something like that)

Pretty jaw dropping also. Probably the most horrific film I've seen. Given that it's real.

Human centipede 1 ajd 2 are just grim and rubbish but watchable
