Although I didn't cry because I am a hard cow

The do over and the cobbler are exclusive to Netflix and usual adam sander films

Was coming on here to recommend Fundamentals of Caring, but see others have beaten me to it. I loved the bit where Ben and Dot are saying their farewells and there's the quip about Ben keeping in touch with the pervs in Denver - the look Dot's Dad gives him is priceless. There is some really sharp writing & beautifully timed comedy in this film, as well as the warm fuzzies.

I totally agree Jed - incredibly well written! I was gripped from start to finish. The dialogue between the 2 main characters was just brilliant!

The Gift is really good.

i watched Fundamentals of Caring and Equals and Predestination last night!

Fundamentals is quite watchable (though why use English characters with English accents and make them speak American? bit jarring)

Predestination was very good sci fi time travel stuff, needs concentration.

Equals was sci fi you can watch with a couple of naps and not miss anything. Was nive to look at but a bit boring and predicatable. just about worth a watch though (why is kristen stewarts hair alway so greasy!!)

The invitation is a pretty good thriller. www.theguardian.com/film/2016/apr/05/the-invitation-film-review-karyn-kusama-suspense

We watched Fundamentals Of Caring last night, really enjoyed it - thanks to those who recommended it!

I loved Chef but it made me hungry.

Schbittery - I think the mother & son had to be British because the humour was dark, sarcastic and irony-laden. I suspect a lot of Americans would struggle with disability being presented in this way, but we Brits are famed (notorious) for black humour and irony, so that makes it OK. Wink

I loved Chef too, just a nice watchable film

Does anyone know why I can't seem to find certain films on Netflix, such as Chef and The Imposter ???
