chewed it up...... flung it around some more.... beat it with sticks..... crushed it with stones and started over.

The Pursuit of Happyness..... I wasn't sure I'd make it to the end of the movie. How many times can a grown woman cry in one movie?

Loved it!!!!!!!!! Still sobbing over an hour later.

I am objecting to it on the grounds that they've spelt happiness wrong.

Good, was it?

Hinker... cos that's how the word is spelt in graffiti on the wall of the daycare centre. Will didn't like the spelling either. Go see it and take a dozen boxes of tissue!

Sob!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Clarinet60 · 01/02/2007 12:42

It's much more relaxing the 2nd time, Marslady. You can see the nuances you missed the first time because you were too churned up. (Have to say that I went with 3 different people, didn't just haunt the cinema on my own..., lol)

I came to look for this thread. I looked for it by putting "happyness" in the search box thinking it would bring this thread up straight away.

74 threads with "happyness" in. Proof, were it needed, that Mumsnetters can't spell.

I digress. The film...oooh, just watched it (for the first time) on DVD.

I cried. And cried. And cried. With snot and everything. I just cried all the way through.

Thandie Newton though....looking rough. What did Carter do to her in Africa?
