So I sat down with a glass of wine and my two cats, totally taking advantage of a house to myself to watch BAT.

A long time fave of mine. I know it's Hollywood, but most things seemed so simple and wonderful then!

How effortlessly stunning Audrey was and from documentaries I have watched she was not considered a typical beauty back then - Crazy!

God awful casting of Mickey Rooney though!! How was that ever ok to do?!

DD had not read the book but loves Audrey in the film. When she suggested it, I didn't want to say no because she's a prostitute. DD is dyslexic so was looking for a character in a film she liked that was originally a book. Imo that particular teacher did not know anything about BAT, she was a total airhead and corrected DD's spellings but often got them wrong! Confusing for a dyslexic child to say the least.
